Fields
Tips
- The panel shows text, checkbox, radio, and dropdown fields. Other field types stay unchanged.
- Enable “Flatten before saving” to bake values into the page for reliable sharing.
- If the tool finds no fields, the PDF may be a scan without form controls.
FAQ
What does flattening change?
Flattening draws the current field values into the page content so most viewers treat them as fixed text or marks. That improves sharing compatibility, but the exported PDF usually stops being editable as a form.
Will this edit every field type?
The tool handles common AcroForm text, checkbox, radio, and select fields. Other field types may stay unchanged if the PDF viewer or source file uses unsupported widgets.
Does this page upload my file?
No. The PDF is parsed and updated locally in your browser unless you choose to share the output file yourself.
What if the PDF shows no fields?
Some PDFs are flat scans or visual forms without AcroForm fields. In that case the page can preview the document, but it cannot list editable controls because none are embedded.
