FAQ
How do I count days until Christmas or another event?
Choose a preset such as Christmas or New Year, or choose Custom date and enter the event date. The calculator uses your reference date and shows calendar days, weeks, weekend days, and business days.
Is the event day included in the count?
Yes for future targets: the interval starts after the reference date and includes the target date. If the target is the same date as the reference date, the answer is 0 days.
How are February 29 birthdays handled?
A February 29 birthday is counted to the next actual leap day. For example, after February 29 has passed in a leap year, the next occurrence is the next leap year.
How are business days counted?
Business days are calendar days in the interval that are not part of your selected weekend pattern and are not listed as custom holidays. No official holiday database is applied automatically.
Are holidays added automatically?
No. Add holidays manually as YYYY-MM-DD values when you want them excluded from the business-day count.
