How to use the test
- Choose a pattern and check its preview.
- Start the test. Full screen is attempted only when the option is selected.
- Use Previous or Next to change patterns. Hide controls to view the edges, then click, tap, or press Tab to restore them.
- Use Exit or Esc to finish. To inspect another display, move the browser window before starting again.
What this test cannot measure
This tool does not repair pixels, calibrate color, or measure refresh rate.
Browser color management, display settings, HDR, night modes, and extensions can change the appearance. The app cannot verify or reset them.
Browser zoom and system scaling affect the display. No one-to-one physical pixel mapping is guaranteed.
To inspect another monitor, move this browser window to it before starting. The app does not list or select your displays.

What can this monitor test check?
It displays patterns for your own visual inspection of points, uniformity, grayscale, and grid lines. It does not detect defects or return a pass/fail result.
Can it fix a dead or stuck pixel?
No. It contains no pixel-repair or flashing mode and does not change your monitor settings.
Why is the test not filling my whole screen?
The browser may not support or permit full screen. In that case the viewer uses only the browser area. Browser controls, cutouts, and system overlays may still be visible.
Does gray RGB 128 mean 50% brightness?
No. RGB 128 specifies an encoded channel value. It is not a measurement of physical brightness or luminance.
Why do patterns look different on different devices?
Browser color management, display settings, system scaling, HDR, night modes, and extensions can affect the appearance. The tool does not calibrate them or guarantee physical pixel mapping.
