Is the passphrase sent to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Passphrases are not uploaded and are not saved by default.
What is “Diceware-style”?
Diceware is a method that selects each word using 5 rolls of a six-sided die (5d6) from a 7776‑word list. This tool can show dice codes and also supports manual dice-code input.
How many words should I use?
For most use cases, 5–8 words is a good starting point. Increase words for higher strength.
Can I share a link to my passphrase?
Share URLs include settings only, not the generated passphrase.
