All calculations are informational. School policies differ—confirm official GPA figures with your registrar.

We prefilled sample courses and ran the numbers so you can see the results immediately—replace them with your own classes.

How to use (3 steps)

  1. Pick a mode (Term GPA, Cumulative GPA, or Final grade needed) and check the prefilled sample rows.
  2. Replace the sample courses, credits, grades, and levels with your own data, adjusting the scale/weights if needed.
  3. Use the Calculate button in each tab to see results, then copy the shareable URL or export CSV if you want to keep a record.

Use this calculator to explore scenarios, not as an official transcript—always verify with your school.

Choose the planning tab first

This page combines three related school workflows. Pick the tab that matches your question before you start editing rows so you only change the assumptions that matter.

Use the right tab for the job

Term GPA is for one current term, Cumulative GPA is for combining prior credits with the current term, and Final grade needed is for target planning when an exam or project still remains.

What to check before you compare scenarios

Keep the same scale, weighting policy, and grade cutoffs across runs. In the final-grade tab, verify category weights and target format before trusting the minimum score.

FAQ

How are weighted and unweighted GPA different?

Unweighted GPA uses the base grade points from the selected scale. Weighted GPA adds the Honors and AP/IB bump (capped by the scale) so advanced classes can exceed 4.0.

How do I use the final grade needed tab?

Enter your category weights and current averages, choose a target letter or percent, and the tool shows the minimum final exam score needed after normalising the weights.

Which tab should I start with?

Use Term GPA for one current class list, Cumulative GPA when you already have prior credits and GPA, and Final grade needed when you want the minimum exam score for a target result.

What inputs matter most in the final grade tab?

Check that your category weights normalise correctly, confirm your current averages, and decide whether the target should be a letter or a percentage before interpreting the required final score.

Why can my official result differ from this page?

Schools differ on grade cutoffs, dropped scores, weighting caps, pass-fail handling, and rounding. This page is for planning, so confirm the policy with your school before relying on the number.
