Reference photo

The working image is resized to at most 2048 pixels on its longest side. It is not a backup of the original photo.

Removing photo metadata does not hide information visible in the picture.

AI and automation

This area describes a location. It is not a pixel-editing mask.

AI access is off

WebMCP tools are not registered. Drawing and JSON commands still work.

Content made available to an external AI may be processed by that AI service. Permission here does not change the AI service’s own safeguards.

Agent guide

Enable access, copy a current template, and then paste a supported JSON batch. JavaScript is not accepted.

Recovery copies

Browser storage can be cleared. Download a project file for a portable copy.

Project files contain the reference photo and hidden objects. Use image export for sharing.

The drawing app processes photos and artwork in your browser. It does not upload them to CalcBE. The site’s normal consent and analytics settings still apply.

Export image

SVG may retain paths or image data outside the visible canvas. Choose PNG to avoid including data outside the exported area.

Exporting an image does not change your editable project.

SVG text may look different on other devices. Choose PNG for a fixed appearance.

Change canvas size

Only the canvas size changes, anchored at the top left. Your drawing and reference image keep their size and position.

Swapping dimensions does not rotate your drawing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a saved drawing later?

Yes. Save a project file to keep individual lines, shapes, text and the working reference photo. PNG exports are flattened images.

Does this automatically trace a photo?

Automatic tracing is not included. You can trace by hand or use a compatible external AI to create editable vector lines. Results depend on that AI.

Do I need an AI account to draw?

No. Drawing, editing and saving work without an AI connection. AI automation depends on your tools and browser support.

Can I erase part of a brush stroke?

This version deletes a whole line or object. Partial erasing and raster painting are not included.

Are projects synced between my phone and computer?

There is no cloud sync. Move a project file to the other device and open it to continue editing.

Are HEIC and SVG images supported for import?

No. Import PNG or JPEG photos, or open a CalcBE Draw project. SVG is available as an export format only.
