Who runs this site
CalcBE is maintained by a small engineering-focused team. We prioritize performance, accessibility, and predictable behavior across locales. We avoid unnecessary external scripts and keep core features usable even on modest devices.
Quality and formula policy
- Calculation logic is implemented with explicit handling for rounding, edge values, and invalid inputs.
- When a formula has multiple conventions, the selected convention is stated in UI notes or FAQ text.
- When feasible, pages include worked examples so users can sanity-check outputs.
- High-impact pages (finance/health) include additional caution text and educational-use labeling.
Sources and references
For domain-specific calculators, we use standard textbook or guideline formulas and align wording with commonly accepted definitions. Where local regulations or institution-specific rules may differ, we state that results are approximate and should be verified with official documents.
